  1. $178.80

    Creekside Estate

    Niagara (Canada), Ontario (Canada)

    6 x 750 ml

Rich Fish, Soft Cheese, White Meat

A heady perfume of honeysuckle, mandarin orange and apricot with whiffs of fennel and white pepper. What Viognier is really all about though, is that textural magic. The wine is very weighty and unctuous on the palate but resolves back into a feather light, finelyfocused finish. Kinda like a sumo wrestler that can dance a beautiful ballet.

    Andre Perret

    France (France), Northern Rhône (France)

    6 x 750 ml

Breads, Cured Meat, Rich Fish, Soft Cheese, White Meat

"Green-tinged straw-yellow. Intensely perfumed aromas of fresh orchard and pit fruits are enlivened by orange pith and smoky mineral notes that gain strength with aeration. Sappy white peach and pear flavors show excellent clarity and zesty back-end cut. Smooth and focused on the persistent finish, which features a lingering violet note and a hint of honeysuckle."

    Andre Perret

    France (France), Northern Rhône (France)

    6 x 750 ml

Breads, Cured Meat, Ham, Rich Fish, Soft Cheese, White Meat

"Coming largely from 80-year-old vines in the Coteau du Chery, Perret's 2016 Condrieu Chery is a tremendous effort. The decomposed granite soils seem to impart more tension into the wine, so although this medium to full-bodied wine is rich and fruity, it's also lively, spicy and fresh. Floral and apricot aromas lead the way, followed by a silky-textured palate that never seems heavy and a nearly never-ending finish. Just wow."

    Mas Carlot

    France (France), Southern Rhône (France)

    12 x 750 ml

Breads, Cured Meat, Rich Fish, Roasted Vegetables, Soft Cheese, White Meat

This blend of 60% Roussanne, 30% Marsanne and 10% Viognier is nearly outstanding. Aged completely in tank, this elegant white offers up notes of peach marmalade, apricots, honeyed pears, candle wax and a touch of buttered brioche. With good fresh acidity as well as abundant fruit and flavor, this attractive, medium-bodied wine should be consumed over the next 1-2 years.

    Domaine Rémi Niero

    France (France), Northern Rhône (France)

    6 x 750 ml

Breads, Cured Meat, Ham, Rich Fish, Soft Cheese, White Meat

"The 2017 Condrieu Chery offers slightly more stone fruits, white flowers, and crushed citrus, with plenty of spice and obvious minerality coming through with time in the glass. It's vibrant, fresh and elegant on the palate, with perfect balance. It's another high-quality wine from this estate."

    95 points - Jeb Dunnuck, Jan 2019

"Niero's 2017 Condrieu Chéry comes from vines around 70 years old. It's floral and ripe, with apricot and pineapple flavors in a full-bodied but balanced format. Rich and plush on the palate, it showcases the opulent texture and decadent fruit of Viognier, yet it remains fresh and spicy on the long, harmonious finish."
