    "The 2015 El Castro de Valtuille Mencía Joven is also fermented in stainless steel, but spends a couple of months in oak vats before bottling. Both young wines are sourced from a diversity of plots in Valtuille de Abajo, totaling some 60 hectares. There are some herbal notes intermixed with wild berries that transmit freshness; although these grapes are always destemmed, the feeling is a little of a full cluster fermentation. The palate is medium-bodied and quite straight, with good acidity and persistence. It feels like 2015 is a good vintage for the young wines."
