Red fruits seem to dominate the palate but underpinning are richer black fruits a touch of blackberry and black cherry. Sellout Risk: HIGH

I am very sad to say it, but we are down to the last 100 cases of this wine. The legend ends here for the final allocation of the 2010 Vintage. - Aaron Bick, Co-founder

"The 2010 Hacienda Lopez de Haro Crianza feels quite classical in its style, lightly-colored, with clean red spicy fruit, a touch of leather and a polished, soft palate that makes it very pleasant and easy to drink. At this price level this wine is a steal! Drink 2014-2018."

Bright ruby red with an intense bouquet of red and dark fruit with balsamic notes. Round and ripe on the palate with dark fruit and spice. This is a well-structured Primitivo with great balance. 7. New Acentor Garnacha Calatayud by Isaac Fernandez Selección 2015

    Isaac Fernandez Selección

    Calatayud (Spain), Spain (Spain)

    12 x 750 ml

Breads, Cured Meat, Hard Cheese, Red Meat, Roasted Vegetables

"The Acentor bottling from Isaac Fernandez is produced from vines that are more than fifty years of age, which are planted at relatively high altitudes of seven hundred and fifty to nine hundred meters above sea level, with the soils being iron-rich clay. The wine is fermented with indigenous yeasts in cement tanks and aged in a combination of French and American casks. The wine offers up a deep, ripe and nicely complex nose of black cherries, grilled venison, coffee grounds, scorched earth and a touch of fresh herbs in the upper register. On the palate the wine is deep, full-bodied and complex, with nice, plush black fruit on the attack, a good signature of soil, fine depth at the core and lovely length and grip on the ripely tannic and peppery finish. This is 14.5 percent octane, but very nicely balanced. A great, great value at fourteen dollars a bottle here in New York! 2017-2035."

Fruit forward, rich and mouthwatering, showing generous red fruits complemented by spicy notes giving an overall impression reminiscent of an amaro. The fresh and fruity Merlot is bolstered by the complexity contributed by Montepulciano sourced from the winery owner’s personal vineyards. Not technically allowed in an Italian wine labelled Merlot, but it makes for a great combination! > Learn More

"Produced from old vines, this blend of Touriga Nacional, Touriga Franca and Tinta Roriz is rich and dense. It has firm tannins at this young stage although it is obviously going to become a generous rich wine as it develops. It has a fine future of complex structure and fruit."
