What happens when a California cult Cabernet producer has great wine that doesn't go into the final blend? It gets snapped up by the savvy folks at Waterstone and sold at less than one-tenth the price of the original. We can't tell you what the winery is. Winemaker Philip Zorn told us he had to sign 6 pages of nondisclosure just to get this great stuff. Suffice it to say, this wine was sourced from hillside vineyards in the heart of California Cult Land.
"Subtle aromas of blueberry, blackberry and bramble berry follow through to full body, fine tannins and a fresh finish. Chewy and lively on the finish. Shows the tension of the great 2013 vintage in Napa Valley. Why wait?”
Deep, dark and delicious.
