    Eastside Distilling

    Cocktail

This is the Northwest’s premium vodka and our hometown favorite. Our gluten free Portland Potato Vodka has a clean, crisp taste that mixes especially well in your favorite cocktails, drinks great straight-up on the rocks, or acts as a perfect base to an inventive infusion. The key to producing a vodka this smooth is to start with the right ingredients. Most vodka is made from grain but we feel grains are better used for whiskey. Potatoes, on the other hand, make for a vodka that is low-octane and exceptionally clean meaning you can finally say goodbye to the 'burn'.

"Silky through and through; opens with refreshing mineral water and gentle ethyl notes. Absolutely no burning sensation with a sweep of cotton candy sweetness." - Mel Heim, Master Distiller

All Vodka was not created equal. Before i fell in love with wine, i enjoyed a lot of Vodka. Some is good, some is not as good. There are large brands, and smaller ones. Vodka you need to mix and Vodka to drink on its own. This is undoubtedly one of the very best Vodka's i have ever tasted. The Vodka is made with winter wheat and is almost soft on the palate. It mixes well, and will add flavour to whatever you are making, but it almost seems a shame as the flavour of the vodka is so darn good. This is perfect on the rocks, or in a martini.

    Armagnac Castarède

    1 x 700 ml

Chocolate cake, Foie gras, Sweets, Tarte tatin

"Look for deep dried-and cooked-fruit aromas: fig, date and baked apple drizzled with caramel. The silky, remarkably light palate shows plum-flesh tartness at first, then dried dates and figs, and finally a long mocha finish accented by cinnamon, clove and orange peel."

    Armagnac Castarède

    Armagnac (France), France (France)

    1 x 700 ml

    Chocolate cake, Sweets, Tarte tatin

"At 40 years old, the fruit is still there, but it’s enveloped in patisserie: brioche, chocolate-covered banana, holiday cookies. But there’s still bright mint and cinnamon on the nose, and enough freshness on the palate to balance the deep wood and leather notes. The finish of licorice and tobacco is simply incredible. So much complexity here."

    John Walker & Sons Ltd.

    United Kingdom (Scotland)

    1 x 750 ml

Some of the distilleries that produced these casks no longer exist, making the whiskies not just rare, but irreplaceable; a mellow nose with almost no prickle; velvety mouth-feel, then an explosion of flavour: hazelnuts, rose petals, sherry, oranges. Subsequent sips reward with: kumquats, smoke, sandalwood...

This is an authentic re-creation of an original, 19th century blend that includes some 60-year-old malt whisky, and was sold only to their most valued customers at the time. Each bottle has its own serial number and comes in a silk-lined box.
