"Dark and lightly roasted fruit on the nose, all black plum and black cherry, with a fresh, lightly sooty lift to it. A lovely texture and creamed plum confidence on the finish, fresh and pure, with succulent black cherry stone fruit. Lots of smoky elements here, complicated by nuances of toast, grilled nuts, praline and cinnamon spice. A fresh, charming and delightful wine, with lots of grippy tannin underneath, fresh acidity and a good perfumed lift."
