Iole represents a delightful rosé wine obtained by 100% Nebbiolo grapes. It offers a bright, refreshing acidity that lifts a dry but fruit forward palate with hints of rose, grapefruit, raspberry and red cherry. The persistent finish leaves the mouth satisfied with a pleasant herbal note.

The Producer

Fratelli Serio & Battista Borgogno

Since 1897 this family-run winery has produced legendary wines from their Cannubi vineyard. If Italy were to employ the same vineyard classification system as Burgundy, there is no arguing that Cannubi would be amongst the Grand Crus. Frankly, there is little argument that it would be the King amongst even that elite company of celebrated and famous vineyards. Today, the 5th generation (Emanuela and Federica) in this family wine company continue to make beautiful and authentic wines from their stellar vineyards throughout Langhe.
