Tasting Notes

This Riesling is named after the blend of highest quality material from the Rudesheimer Berg. An array of flavours combined make an intense and rich Riesling. Honey, malt, nougat, grapefruit and even kumquat are flavours that can be found on the palate. It is refreshing, it is lively, and it has slight hints of slate stone, which balances out the fruitiness of the wine.

August Kessler

August Kessler is a renowned winery located in the Rheingau region of Germany. Founded in 1920 by August Kessler, the winery has a rich history of producing high-quality wines that have won numerous awards and accolades over the years.

The current owner is Johannes Leitz, who took over the business from his father in 2011. Leitz is a passionate winemaker who has a deep understanding of the terroir and the grape varieties grown in the region.
