Cantina Montelliana is the most important wine-producing cooperative of the Montello and Colli Asolani area. Established in 1957, it has about 450 associated wine growers producing quality Italian wines, such as Chardonnay and Pinot Grigio, on about 600 hectares located in in the territory surrounding Treviso. 'Our peculiarity is the production of Prosecco, particularly Asolo DOCG that is our hill production, with it we got all major awards' claims Nicola Frozza, enologist at Cantina Montelliana.
Cantina Montelliana distinguishes itself for the mix between innovation and tradition in all the steps of the producing process, a frequent characteristic of wine-making establishments with a long history. The cooperative, as a matter of fact, uses modern cutting-edge machinery that allow producers of Prosecco to guarantee quality, hygiene and safety in the whole wine making process. At the same time, it employs more traditional methods, a result of past experiences and closely connected to the wine-making history and culture of this territory.
