Giorgio Odero is a barrique aged Pinot Nero from a careful selection of low yielding mature vines. In the glass, the wine is ruby red with garnet highlights. It is rich and elegant with intense aromas of wild red berries, spice and notes of Seville orange. The expressive palate is fresh and fruity. Cherry, vanilla and orange zest are balanced by elegant tannins and a balsamic acidity. A beautiful wine for ageing.

Located 100km south of Milan, this area produces primarily Pinot Nero (aka Pinot Noir). The Oltrepò is often overlooked by tourists and wine lovers in favour of more famous locations like Tuscany and - as a result - is quietly beautiful, remarkably authentic, and thankfully untouched.
'Frecciarossa' is located amidst some of the prettiest wine landscape anywhere in the world. Much of Lombardy's wine country is breathtaking. They are one of the greatest and oldest producers in Northern Italy, tracing their roots back to the 18th century.
