This wine is ruby-violet coloured, and has deep aromas of black cherries, red berries, plum skins, and violets. On the palate it is pure and deep, then grows in intensity and finishes with berries, minerals & licorice. The old-vine flavours are soft in texture and a real presence on the mineral-spice finish.

The Château de Ruth is located in Sainte-Cécile-les-Vignes, north-east of Orange in the heart of the southern Côtes du Rhône terroirs. The wines produced at the property are of the Sainte-Cécile Côtes du Rhône Villages, Côtes du Rhône Villages, Côtes du Rhône and Vin De Pays appellations. The estate is one of the oldest in the Rhône Valley since its name appears for the first time in 1561.
Vincent MOREAU, seduced by the beauty of Château de Ruth and the quality of its vineyard, bought it in 2010. He devotes all his know-how and enthusiasm to producing quality wines from fabulous terroirs, red clay on pebbles, reminiscent of the best appellations of the southern Rhône Valley.
