"Very light in colour. On the nose redcurrant, complex, slightly floral, and a first hint of spice. The palate shows dense phenolic-mineral complexity. Viscous, layered, cool impression with naturally integrated acidity. An immense extract slumbers while alcohol remains inconspicuous. Compact, condensed, with a finish which lasts very long, above all structurally. Great phenolic expression. A rosé close to perfection."

Ever since working on the winery with his father in the mid-70's, from his young age, Gérard Bertrand knew that he would be a winemaker and would perpetuate the passion for wine as well as his father’s pioneer spirit. In 1992, he created the wine company Gérard Bertrand which later buys Domaine de Cigalus, Château Laville Bertrou and Domaine de l’Aigle and became known as the renowned winemaker who saved Languedoc.
With 16 estates located on the most remarkable terroirs of the South of France, Gérard Bertrand is the Ambassador of the Great Wines of Languedoc throughout the world.
